Philip Guarascio Joins the Board of Interactive Digital Signage Company, Aerva, Inc

Cambridge, MA—Philip Guarascio joined the Board of Aerva, Inc., a leading provider of digital signage technology. Phil has extensive board experience as he currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Arbitron, Inc. (ARB, NYSE) a media information and marketing company for audience data of radio and digital out-of-home. Additionally, Mr. Guarascio is a Board member for Papa John’s International Inc. (PZZA, NASDAQ), the country’s third largest pizza delivery chain. He is also a Board member and former non-executive Chairman of Adspace Networks, Inc., a leading digital media company with screens in the largest shopping malls in the top ten markets.

Previously, from 1985 to 2000, Mr. Guarascio served as Vice President of Corporate Advertising and Marketing at General Motors where he was responsible for the creation and management of processes and the measurement of a variety of different elements designed to maximize the performance of GM’s “go to market” efforts. He oversaw GM’s multi-billion dollar media spending as well as various corporate initiatives, such as the GM credit card. Mr. Guarascio was the lead executive for sales and marketing for the National Football League (NFL) and managed a variety of internal and external programs designed to build NFL positioning and revenue from NFL network, catalog division, credit card program and sponsorship activities.

Mr. Guarascio also served on the Boards of Hot Jobs (sold to Yahoo), Snyder Communications (acquired by Havas) and IAG, an innovative research company (sold to Nielsen in a private transaction).
